1. Product Introduction
HP-242 spray-applied polyurea flexible coating is a fast-curing, two-component coating specifically developed for protecting vehicle bodies and chassis. It provides
corrosion protection, wear resistance, and impact resistance.

Iron Drum Packaging:
HP-242A (Curing Agent): 220 kg;
HP-242B (Base Coating): 200 kg.
6. Storage and Transportation
Store the paint in a sealed container in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, away from sunlight and rain, and away from sources of ignition.
Under the original packaging and specified storage conditions, this product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production.
Use as soon as possible after opening. Reseal and store when not in use.
Avoid violent impact during transportation. Stack the materials neatly and stably.
7. Application Conditions
Substrate Requirements: The substrate must be clean, repaired, and polished to a certain degree of roughness. The substrate must meet the permitted strength
requirements and have a moisture content of less than 6%. The next step should be carried out as soon as possible after surface preparation.
Ambient Temperature and Humidity Requirements: The application temperature must be between 5°C and 35°C, with the substrate temperature at least 5°C above the
dew point. The humidity must be between 30% and 80%.
Ventilation: Maintain good ventilation during application, but avoid strong winds.
8. Coating Methods and Requirements
8.1 Components A and B of the coating should be mixed thoroughly before use. Stirring during application is recommended if conditions permit.
8.2 HP-242A (curing agent): HP-242B (base paint) = 1:1 (volume ratio). The addition of thinners is not permitted.
8.3 Application must be performed by a professional team using specialized spray equipment. The material temperature during spraying should be controlled
between 50°C and 80°C.
8.4 Generally, the next process can be carried out 12 hours after coating. If the interval between applications exceeds 24 hours, a coat of modified polyurethane bridging
agent (HP-115) must be applied before proceeding. If inclement weather such as rain occurs after coating, a coat of modified polyurethane bridging agent (HP-115)
must be applied before proceeding to the next process.
8.5 Under normal circumstances, the paint film should be cured for at least 7 days after application to ensure optimal performance.
9. Recommended Dosage
Under normal circumstances, the theoretical dosage for a 1mm thick film is 1.2 kg/m².
10. Labor Protection and Safety
Before use, carefully read the product instructions and warning labels on the packaging container and familiarize yourself with the application methods and requirements.
Open flames, welding, smoking, and any other unauthorized activities are prohibited at the construction site. Application must be carried out under well-ventilated conditions.
This product is a solvent-free, environmentally friendly paint. However, due to the high pressure during spray application, spray mist will be generated.
Please wear a gas mask and other protective equipment during application. Do not inhale paint mist and avoid skin contact with the paint.
If paint splashes on skin, immediately rinse with an appropriate detergent, soap, and plenty of water. If splashes come into contact with eyes,
rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
Under normal application conditions, the dried coating is non-toxic. Please use with confidence.
